Please note our tips for arrival
The coastal landscape is a charming region. It almost seems as if it was created for you to relax. For those who want to drive a few more kilometers, additional destinations are nearby; eg Emden, where visits to the Kunsthalle or the Landesmuseum are inviting. Or Leer, where it’s easy to shop. This also applies to the neighboring The Netherlands. Winschoten is known for its pedestrian zone, Groningen for its special cultural offers.
Directly from Norddeich you can take the ferry to the islands Norderney and Juist.
Location & Directions – Tips
Until Autobahn junction Leer, continue to Emden (A31), Exit Emden-Mitte, continue on B 210 to Georgsheil, turn left onto the B 72, direction Norddeich.
Follow the road with bypass to the second large roundabout, then take the third exit onto Ostermarscher Straße (direction Norddeich Zentrum / Campingplatz-Schild).
Cross the next intersection straight ahead and follow the road (campsite symbols) for a long time until you reach the Deichstrasse and on the left side you will find the North Sea Camp Norddeich.
- Tip 1: Avoid driving north and take the bypass as described above. This saves a lot of time and frustration!
- Tip 2: Please follow the B210 in the direction of Aurich / Norddeich from Emden and perhaps do not follow the navigation device if you would like to pilot it via Loppersum / Werdenum / Greetsiel to Norddeich (the roads here are not necessarily suitable for caravans / RVs).
